The Artacleanse® Process
Tides’ proprietary Artacleanse® Process is strong enough to make a graft safe for implantation but gentle enough to maintain natural potential.

What is an amniotic tissue graft or skin substitute?
An amniotic tissue graft is a skin substitute product often used when a patient has a chronic wound. It is derived from the amniotic membrane of a donated placenta, which is received through the Louisiana Organization for Transplant, a division of Tides.

Is amniotic tissue safe?
Our Artacleanse Process is used to process the tissue of donated placentas from planned C-section births at our own AATB-accredited* tissue bank. Artacleanse ensures all tissues are rigorously tested for safety and terminally sterilized, making our grafts safe for implantation.
